of Dorothy's Passing

Memories & Candles
Many years we sang together in choir, probably about 30 years, thru different directors and thru many obstacles in life. The choir was like a family to most of us. When some turmoil happened and we lost Jo Ann and Alan so many stopped coming to the choir and we drifted apart, except for occassionally running into each other out in public. I am sorry that we did not know of Dot's passing until today. Dot was so giving a person,

Dear Dawn & Darlene,
So sorry to hear about your mom. I know how tough it is to lose your parents & I know you just lost your dad earlier this year. I always did like both of them and I know there was times when both our parents helped each other out. I will be thinking of both of you and your families and hope you can remember all your good times together and get you thru the rough times

I am sorry to hear of Dot's passing, but comforted to know that she and LLoyd are together. Dot and Lloyd were good friends of my mother. They used to pick her up most Sundays for Mass at St. Robert's. She was a cheerful and giving person to all, canines included. My thoughts are with the family.

Dot & Lloyd were such loyal members of St. Robert's choir for a number of years, even donating towards a hanging microphone for the choir alcove. We admired how they added on to their own house to be able to care for & have their elderly parents live with them. They loved their church, family & pets. We express our sympathy. Dot was a wonderful wife to Bob's brother, Lloyd. She was a good friend as well as a relative. On Friday I was able to see Dot and visit with Dawn while Bob was in the hospital with knee surgery. Lloyd and Dot shared a love of animals, especially their pet dogs. Dot found humor in many things and had a delightful giggle. Dot was my sister-in-law for many years. She surely will be missed.

Aunt Dot and Uncle Lloyd were the "perfect" pair. They complemented each other. You will be truly missed.
