I was a second grade teacher for 34 years to many, many beautiful children who brought joy into my life. I still keep in contact with some and am blessed to see them grow up into beautiful adults.

It tears my heart to know that you and your children have been denied that. And, for the teachers and administrators who so gallantly who fought hard to protect your loved ones they are truly heroes.

May God continue to be a holy presence in all your lives and in your community and I offer my simple prayers .
