I am so very sorry about you loss; you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Angela, Gordon, Madison, and Riley,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know what a big part of your life your father (grandpa) was. I pray that you all can find some comfort in knowing that your love for him must have brought so much joy in his life.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Cynthia

I have been trying to think of the proper words to comfort you all. There are few words, lots of scripture, but the best I can offer at this particular moment is that I know first hand that only your memories will be your comfort. Hold fast to all your memories; the love, the laughter, good times, and the tough times. Allowing the presence of God through prayer, patience, allowing the tears to flow...these things will give you comfort.

OH and Sandy were such great neighbors. We always admired the way they kept their home and yard so neat and beautiful. I always looked forward to seeing him on his rider mower - he always gave me a wave and great big smile. Our neighborhood will not be the same without them. Our hearts go out to his family. Know that others loved them both and they are now in the arms of their heavenly father. God bless you all.

Dear Angela, Daren,Madison, Riley, and Gordon
It is hard for us right now to write you sweet people another note.
I do know this, your Mom and Dad were so proud of you all. They expressed it so many times . We know O.H. wanted to be with Sandy. They were soulmates and spent a lot of time traveling and have so many friends. I think they know, and I am sure they both would be proud of you now, with the strength and love

Those we love are never forgotten. I have wonderful memories of O.H. and Sandy. Their lives were full of joy and caring. Our constant prayers are for the Porter family especially for Angela and Daren and Gordon, Madison and Riley. We will sadly miss them - especially O.H.'s cooking. With perfect peace and love and knowing they are in the Lord's arms,

I remember how OH used to come up to Greentree where I worked to visit his wife Sandy. I didn't know much about
him except for the fact that he was married to Sandy and that he loved his wife and family very much. Whenever
he came to visit Sandy he was always so sincere and nice to myself and the rest of the Greentree staff. He was
understanding and always easy to talk to. When I heard the news of his

O.H. always "had it covered".
DUTY OVER:
Standing tall, staying the course, attending to and protecting Sandy, while still being the "big guy" Grandpa to Madison and Riley, and the strong leader and support for Angela and Daren, through love.
My family was so fortunate to share so much of that over 50 plus years. Remembering all of the shared fun and laughs will dry these tears, for I believe Sandy and O.H. are off now on another trip, the most wonderful trip yet..and...together.
With heartfelt sympathy, love, and admiration, Dottie Dugan and family
