Theresa "Teddy" Rose DiLazzaro, 89, loving wife of 63 years to Eugene Raymond DiLazzaro, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday January 1, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born March 18, 1923, in West Orange, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Catherine Rapicano.

Mrs. DiLazzaro was a faithful member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who never met a stranger and always knew how to light up a room with her infectious smile and laughter.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughters, Anne Marie DiLazzaro Landsburg and her husband Michael of North Hollywood, CA, Louise DiLazzaro Jacobs and her husband Craig of Spartanburg, SC, and Kathryn DiLazzaro Insabella and her husband Mario of Spartanburg, SC; her five grandchildren, Melissa Jacobs Goodnight (Chris), Peter Michael Insabella (Summer), Christopher Louis Jacobs (Whitney), Paul Mario Insabella, and Kaitlin Ashley Jacobs; and the Rapicano nieces and nephews of New Jersey. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Joanne DiLazzaro; her brother, John F. Rapicano; and sister, Ann Rapicano DeSantis.

Visitation with a Rosary Prayer Service will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, January 4, 2013, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, by the Rev. Timothy M. Gahan.

Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.

Our deepest prayers are with everyone and we wish that we can be there to share the loss. Teddy was a wonderful person who always brought a light of kindness with her and was warm to all . She always made you feel like family and has left us with many lasting memories .Her legacy will continue through her beautiful daughters ,their family members and extended family.Our thoughts are with you all ,especially Gene ,Lou ,Kathy and Anne.
