Jill was a wonderful friend!! We met in college and lived on the same floor in Lincoln Hall at Northern Illinois University. After college I shared an apartment on Auburn Street with Jill and our friend Helen. Jill loved to party, and we did!! I will always remember her laugh, her wit and her yest for life. I will treasure her always.

Mrs. Lundberg was one of the most spirited teachers I had the pleasure of knowing. She was a fan of a good prank & stayed up to date with high school lingo all the way up to her retirement. She was definitely one of the cool teachers, ending the year giving me extra credit for making another student who was having a bad day, smile. Mrs. Lundberg taught my father and mother as well. You'll be missed.

Jill was my friend from her first day at Harlem High School as a fellow English teacher. We enjoyed playing bridge together, but especially we enjoyed shopping! We traveled far and wide in our shopping expeditions, and once we even took a personal day and went to Marshall Fields in Chicago, enjoying the luncheon fashion show while there. She was a supportive, caring, friend who never failed to make me laugh. Way too many memories to list them all, but she will be missed. Be at peace, Jill.

Miss Lundberg was one of my favorite teachers in high school. back in the early 70's. She always made the class interesting and fun and the time just seemed to fly...which most high school students enjoy! I was saddened to hear of her passing this week. She and her family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

A lovely person who'll be sorely missed. We irritated her no end by talking in class using sign language! She "yelled" at us- but smiled the whole time. I think she got a kick out of it. Just lovely.

Jill and I shared a classroom early on in my teaching career. She was very encouraging and always willing to offer a helping hand or a suggestion. Her sense of humor helped things along, too. Peace to you, Jill, and blessings to your family and friends.

For many years Jill taught English in the room next to mine. We ate lunch together, attended a multitude of meetings and workshops, and shared funny stories. Fashion was one of her passions and she always reflected an image of the well-dressed woman on the exterior while she was plagued by ill health on the interior. Be at peace now, Jill.

We had lots of fun during 30 years of friendship; Jill was always so very generous and quite funny.
Glitz and hats were her style!
Rest in peace, my friend.

The diva has gone to heaven. It wasn't fair that Jill had to go through so much physical and mental pain but she persevered and made to 66. Just a week ago she was playing bingo and doing cheers for Polo Rehab advising everyone on the prize that they should pick when they won. I'm sorry there wasn't more time.
