Sorry to hear of Bills passing. I lived on the same block as young, Billy, Bob, and Jimmy. I still have memories of playing with the boys almost daily in the summers in Janesville. Condolences.

Oh My Goodness. Bill. With his cherub face and smile that would brighten any room or soul. and of course the warm, strong and secure bear hugs. He would play on words that he was dependabill, responsibill, respectabill, and always lovabill. my heart warms and breaks with thoughts of him. Sympathy to his family.

I haven't seen Bill since high school yet his smile and kind nature is embedded in my memory. My heart felt condolences to his family and to all who loved him. Peace to you Bill.

My heartfelt condolences to the Ramsdell family. I am so sorry for your loss.
Bill, when I came into Janesville in the fourth grade, you were one of the first to greet me, I always admired you for your natural leadership ability, even at ten years old. I don't think you were aware of it. In our high school class, you are one of the few that truly stood out. I hope you have found peace and as Hughie Thomasson quoted "May your grass be green and your tides high".

I have known Bill for more than 7 years and for a brief period we dated. I just found out a few days ago that he took his life. My heart is heavy as I keep recalling his beautiful face and smile. What haunts me most, is that I never realized how much pain he was in. Every time I saw him at TAC or a festival, he was smiling and happy. How sad to think that he felt so

Everyone has met one of those special people that touch your life without them even knowing they have done so ... Bill was one of those special people. Class reunions will never be the same!

For all who feel we have lost someone very special. We remember you Bill. You were the ultimate "cheermeister" at the class reunion in 2011. I am so glad to have shared a laugh and a hug and got to meet your 2 favorite canines. Your physical being has left this place we still call home, but your spirit and your beautiful smile stay with us. R.I.P.

Wow, what a shocker! My heart felt condolences to all of you Ramsdells, we all loved Bill dearly. I spent some time with Bill in Oregon a few years ago and tried to contact him many times in the past year but got no response. I am sure his wonderful soul is active in a peaceful space. I will miss him as well as Mark Pomije, John Schmitz and Steve Little- all of whom had such a short life.
