So Sorry for your Loss. I have childhood memories of Mr OLiver, and the entire family living in Crestview sub division in the 1970s, and a friend to his daughter Kim. He was a fine person, and he will be missed. May God Bless your family, and give the comfort that is needed at this difficult time in your current lives.

You all are in our thoughts and prayers. I wanted to offer words of encouragement and also say something special about Rev. Oliver. As I thought about him, I remembered that the trait which always struck me most and has stayed with me through the years was just how much he was able to consistently communicate love. He will be missed for a short time until these shadow lands fade into eternity. So as I heard him say so

You and your family are in my prayers. Jones and I loved Lacy and appreciated him coming to our cottage on Kennedy Home campus bringing us food items. Also the many time he took our cottage kids to eat pizza. He was such a good man. Thanks also for the times you and him invited us to your house for dinner after church when we were off duty. You gave us much love and memories in those early days

Please accept my sympathies in the loss of Mr. Oliver. I always considered myself lucky to have met Mr. Oliver and to have shared conversations with him over the years. My thoughts are with each of you.

Mary and Family,
Lacy will be greatly missed and I pray that the assurance of God's love and the love of friends and family will give you great peace. Along with my parents, Lacy was instrumental in my accepting Christ and making him Lord of my life. He always challenged and encouraged me in my Christian walk. I know he did the same for many others. He truly loved God with all his heart and I know he must have heard

I was not fortunate enough to have known your grand daddy but from the love you have for him and the stories I have heard, I know he was an earthly treasure! I love the fact that he served Jesus so faithfully and now sees HIM face to face!
One day....you will be forever reunited with this powerful & precious daddy, grandaddy, pastor, friend, and husband. I celebrate and mourn with you at Mr. Oliver's home-going!
