Dear Mary, Junior, Ray, and Mark.....the world lost a great man on Tuesday but heaven gained him. I just know that Joe was waiting for him and they are catching up on their stories. I am praying for all of you that God's love will comfort you and give you peace. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and a respected business man and a true friend. Blessings to each of you, Joan Culver

Dear Alex, Ray and Mark, I read about your dad's death in this morning's paper and was so sad to know he is gone. He and my husband had heart situations begin at about the same time and they frequently had "heart to heart" talks when he or we were in the store. We thought he was an absolute delight and will treasure our memories of him always.

Years ago, when we started our business on Kerbey Lane we were greeted with Alex's winning smile. Alex made us feel welcome and always current on the news of the neighborhood. We loved it. Alex was so proud of his sons and the love of his life, Mary. He would shine with joy when he shared stories of his family. We will miss Alex and keep many treasured memories in our hearts.
