REGAURDLESS OF ANYONE`S OPINIONS OR REMARKS ...I LOVED HIM AS MY DAD & SPENT MOST OF MY LIFE BY HIS SIDE. HE WAS NEVER KEPT FROM HIS BIOLOGICAL CHILDREN OR FAMILY BEFORE OR DURING THIS TIME, IT WAS A CHOICE HE MADE BECAUSE HE FELT HE WAS A OUTCAST WITHIN HIS BIOLOGICAL FAMILY. I WILL NOT APOLOGIZE FOR LOVING HIM OR TAKING CARE OF HIM ALONG WITH MY MOM , DAILY FOR HIS EVERY NEED & HIS EVERY WANT. THE LAST 16 YEARS FOR HIM WAS A BATTLE OF MANY SICKNESS` & CHALLANGES WITH HIS HEALTH. I UNDERSTAND SOME OF THE REMARKS MADE BUT FEEL THEY HAVE BEEN MADE WITHOUT ANYONE KNOWING HIM OR HIS LIFE. HE WAS A VERY LOVING, CARING , UNSELFISH MAN WHO GAVE HIS HEART TO ANYONE WHO WOULD LET HIM LOVE THEM UNCONDITIONALLY, HE NEVER ASK MUCH IN RETURN , ONLY TO BE ACCEPTED & LOVED EVEN WITH THE MISTAKES HE MADE IN HIS YOUNGER DAYS. HIS LIFE WAS NOT ALWAYS PERFECT BUT I DO KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT THAT HE GAVE HIS WHOLE HEART TO GOD & ASK TO BE FORGIVEN FOR HIS MISTAKES. I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR HIM BEING WITH ME THROUGHOUT MOST OF MY LIFE & WOULD NOT CHANGE THAT PART BUT IF I COULD BRING HIM BACK & HIM BE HEALTHY ... I WOULD IN A HEARTBEAT, BUT I DO WHERE HE IS & KNOW HE IS HAPPY, NOT IN PAIN , OR SUFFERING ANYMORE SO I WILL CHERISH MY MEMORIES OF HIM WITH NO BITTER FEELINGS OR THOUGHTS AS OTHERS SHOULD DO ALSO. BEING ABLE TO FORGIVE AND MOVE ON IS BETTER THAN BEING HATEFUL & BITTER TOWARD ANYONE. I HOPE IN TIME EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS HOW HARD IT IS TO GIVE UP A DAD WHO LOVED AS HE DID , UNCONDITIONAL LOVE WAS HIS HEART WITHOUT MISTAKES. THESE WORDS ARE SPOKEN WITH LOVE FROM PAM

We were told by the daughters that they did not want to be contacted or involved in any way upon his passing, so we did as they wish. While making the arrangements, we did include the daughters, Velda and Vickie, in the obituary out of respect for him as he was

The funeral home posted the first copy, not knowing about the second. The obituary ran 2 days. I will post the present obituary. Our conscious is clear with him having a peaceful death surrounded by his loving family. He will be greatly missed. We all love you Pawpaw.. <3>
