I was reading last nights paper at a friends house, and I saw a "thank you" from the Robert Heikkila family, and I hoped it was not the Bob Heikkila I knew. I was saddened to see that it was, in fact the Bob that I had worked with for over 10 yrs at Gartners. Bob taught me a lot about mens suits, having patience with people, and... crossword puzzles LOL! He loved his break with crossword puzzles and pecan

My prayers are with you and the family. I will miss Bob. I remember the many talks we had about the things he had been going through. Even though its been over 30 years since I lived in Michigan. His life still influences my life today. All my love and prayers go out to the family at this time and always.Precious is the death of his saints in the eyes of The Lord. I can do All things through Christ who strengthens me Phil 4:13

I was so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I missed seeing him on both of our last two trips to Michigan. I'll always be grateful to him for selling us the camp. I have memories of stopping by there to visit when I was young and he and Judy were staying there. He was a good friend and we'll miss him.

So sorry to hear about Bob's passing. We became friends when we moved back up north in 1996. Had a lot of good conversation, enjoyed his sauna on the hill, camping with him at Agate Beach. We will surely miss him.

I have lots of memories working with Bob for 12 years in Hancock. I will miss seeing him this summer when I come home . .I always like to chat with him . . .I think Bob knew every mans' suit size in the Copper Country just by looking at them. He taught me alot about the busiess. He will be missed.
