bob and i were good friends, he alway had such a good attitude was good to be around. most of the time that we were around each other denny thompson was there to i wll miss them both now. god bless all his family as them mourn there loss.

You have my sympathy in your time of loss. Bob and I were classmates from 1st through 12th grades. Even though we havn't been in touch since graduation, I have thought about him many times especially driving past his house when leaving church. We had many good times and he could always make any occasion exciting. He still had that twinkle in his eye. Thanks for the memories.

Bob and I along with Denny Thomson were great frienda all through High School. Haven't seen Bob since our 15th or 20th class renunion. I know he's in a good place now. My prayers are with you.

My memories of Robert--that's still hard for me to say--are more a 'portrait' than a 'movie'. It's a picture of gentleness, rueful humor, intelligence and keen wit rather than specific memories of events and activities. However, I do fondly remember a time--way too many years ago now--when we had a wonderful visit from him and you, Warren, in which we were at Craig's house and shared some great times. I will now have to cherish that last visit forever.

I know he loved you both very much and that he certainly was proud of you, Warren, your family and your accomplishments in life. It is our intention to bring mom out to NC when you decide to have your Celebration of Life. Hopefully, we'll be able to make that happen in reality and we'll be able to see each other again. I'll always be sorry that we didn't make it more of a priority sooner. Of course, you are and will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Over the years Robert became part of our First Baptits Family. As Jim and I grew up and went off to school it was always great to see Robert when we went to First Baptist. Over the years living a long way from Goldsboro we didn't get to see much or Robert but when we did he was always genuinly glad to see us. I know he thought the world of my folks and they always loved both of you. I last saw Robert last year. He had been by to see Mother and left a note. I hppened to run into him at dinner at the Irish Pub on John Street that night. We had a great visit. I will always remember him and you. He will be missed.

Betty and Warren you are in our thoughts and prayers. Bob will always be remembered for his great smile and ongoing sense of humor!

A truly loyal friend, Robert will be missed by many. I enjoyed our golf outings and relaxing times at Olde Beau. Will miss his humor, hospitality, and compassion.

I met Robert at Olde Beau. I wish I had met him years before as he was one of the most sincere and appreciated friends I have every had. I will miss Robert very much.
