Mrs. Frances C. Ballard

Funeral services for Frances Curtis Ballard, age 91 of Seagoville, Texaswill be held at 10:00 AM Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel in Seagoville with Dr. Al Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery under the direction of Roselawn Funeral Home of Seagoville.

Frances Curtis Ballard was born on October 6, 1921 in Seagoville, Texas a daughter of the late John and Pauline Winkle Curtis and passed away on January 29, 2013 in Seagoville. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Ballard, son, Johnny C. Ballard, her parents, John Curtis and Pauline Curtis and granddaughter-in-law Wendy Ballard. Frances started a career in 1946 at the Seagoville Post Office where she was a clerk and later became Assistant Postmaster for many years and in 1970 became the Postmaster and she held this position until her retirement in 1984.

Survivors include her son, Jackie C. Ballard, grandchildren Jason Ballard, Johnny Ballard, Gregg Ballard and Brandi Rodgers and her husband Mike; great grandchildren Rody Ballard, Jasie Ballard, Bailey Ballard, Blaine Ballard, Jacquline Rodgers and Brooklyn Rodgers as well as other friends and realtives.
