Memories & Candles
I just learned of Brian's passing and I wanted to, at the very least, send my deepest condolences to Brian's family and friends. I will miss him dearly.
I got to know Brian in high school and we became close friends. I will always remember him for his kindness, intelligence, and sense of humor--but most of all, his loyality to his friends. Brian was fearless in all circumstances--which always gave me, and I know everyone else, a sense of strength.

So very sorry to hear of your loss. I was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to know Brian and Amy as students. Brian's sense of humor and thoughtfulness to others is memorable. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

What a special brilliant young man. I did not know him personally but got to know who he was through face book and through the eyes of Rachel. The world was truely blessed by him and all the lives he touched. God Bless his soul and may he continue his work in heaven with our lords guidance.

Patti, Scott, Amy, and Aaron,
Though I have not seen Brian for many years, I still remember babysitting Amy, Aaron, and Brian. I loved hearing of his accomplishments in life! Amy, those were beautiful words you said before mass today. It was the most beautiful mass I have been to. There was such peace in Father's words. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers at this time, as you start another chapter in Life. May he rest in eternal peace.

Pattie and family,
Our deepest sympathies are with your family at this time. We are all praying for you. Brian is in God's hands now and I hope you can find solace in Him.

When Deacon Gary said this young man's name in intercessions for deceased, yesterday at St. Ambrose 5pm mass, I was so shocked and dismayed, hoping against hope that it was not going to be Pattie's son! As I told Pattie last fall, when our paths crossed and we began our new "church lady" friendship, I have told my "Brian Batchman story" at beginning of every school year to my teacher friends (or anyone who would listen) about this little 4yr.

I always felt so lucky to have you, Boltz and Meg as neighbors. I remember you sticking up for me on the school bus; how you always knew how to make everyone laugh; how you had no hesitation to go out of your way for someone else. You were wise beyond your years and a clear inspiration to so many. May you rest in peace.
To Brian's entire family,
On behalf of the Halenar's, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
