Memories & Candles
My most sincere condolences to ALL of the McGuinness Clan. Your Father/Ed was a class act from beginning to end. We all have a "special" watcher/angel in heaven. Ms. Anne may your heart heal knowing "LOVE" trancends all planes and dimensions of existence. You and Ed's love story gives me hope!

Sympathy to Anne and the rest of the family

My deepest sympathy to the entire family. I had the pleasure of interacting with Ed on numerous Human Resource matters during our careers at IBM. He clearly personified the characteristics of professionalism, integrity, ethics and compassion. We all gained much from observing his style and listening to his explanations. May his memory serve as a source of comfort to each of you.

Ed was a wonderful friend of exceptional depth. He seemed a blend of Lincoln's empathy with his team of rivals and the closing force of George Patton. We always delighted in his huge presence!
So many stories...so many years...so many McGuinnesses.
One tale stands alone because it saved our wedding reception. For several reasons, the wedding ceremony ran very late and the party at the old Forest Hill Inn started an hour behind schedule. The manager approached us at 5;00PM to end

I worked with Ed and Maura for many years in Tampa. He was a great person and I always loved hearing about his HUGE family! My heart goes out to all of you.

Goodbye to Ed - a giant of a man and a legend in his time. I will always cherish fond memories of our early days together at IBM Brooklyn.

To the McGuinness family,
We are so sorry to hear about your loss.
I remember meeting your dad many years ago when Peggy introduced us. He was delightful.

We treasure the morning breakfasts in the clubhouse and stories, continually. We also enjoyed Sunday brunch and monthly socials with you and Anne. You are going to find the other two guys named Ed from our street in heaven, and continue military stories and watching sports. I miss you all. Love Geri
