From my earliest memories, I remember Dolores as the one who could light up the room. Her smile, her laughter, her warmth, friendliness and love made everyone who had the pleasure of being with her feel that there was something very special in them. She always had time for a welcoming word and a big hug. My deepest sympathy's, thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. You now have a beautiful angel watching over you.

To Ellie and her great big family: Coincidentally, I saw Dee's picture(s) at the Farley Funeral home the other day while making arrangements for my mother's wake and funeral. Though I was unaware of who she was, I felt sad to see that such a lovely young woman had passed. Later, when I stoped by the funeral home to deliver something, I could barely get in the door. What a beautiful tribute to see so many people paying their respects.

This morning at St. James Church we celebrated Delores' life, a life well lived. Delores will always be smiling in our memories for that is how she lived her life, excited, optimistic, energetic, and always looking for and expecting the best.

Her devotion to her boys, her grandson, her Mom, her husband, her brothers and sisters and family was remarkable. Where did she find the enthusiasm to care for her friends and colleagues and students as well? What a blessing she was in all of our lives, what an inspiration.

Rest well, dear Delores, we will forever speak of you fondly.

I am so sorry to hear of Delores' passing. I ran into her last year, here in Falmouth, at the Italian deli. It was so good to see her and talk about family. I am thankful for that. My prayers are with you auntie Ellenor and with the whole family. With deepest sympathy, Debbie

I had the privilege to have Mrs. Bourke as both my science and home room teacher at the Washington Irving. She was a great teacher and I would not have made it this far in life as a teacher without meeting an awesome person like her. She will be greatly missed and your family be in my prayers.
