Memories & Candles
We had the great honour of knowing Doug for the few years that we owned the pub that he frequented! What a lovely man, it s hard to believe that he won't be there when we come back to visit, the place just won't be the same without him. We have lots of great memories of time spent with Doug, which we will carry forever. To say we will miss him is an understatement. X

I agree with Joe. It hasn't hit me yet. I still expect to see him Monday night at Trivia. Doug always made me feel special. His kind spirit, genuine warmth, and great humor made a positive impact on my life. He was tough and strong throughout these last months, a true inspiration. My very best to his mom and brother, and to all who were fortunate to know him and call him friend. XO

I already miss him and the fact that I won't see him out anymore has yet to really hit me. He was a great guy and a lot of fun. I'll never forget him.

Doug was one of my oldest and most loyal friends and I will miss him. All of his WPHS67 classmates looked upon him as a most jovial and kind spirit!
I know Doug is up in heaven right now wacking a golf ball, drinking a cold one, and telling God a good joke!
RIP Doug, we love you!

My condolences to Rick and his Mother for their loss. We have all lost a friend in Doug. He will be missed and I regret that I never got to play golf with him. That one always one of my goals.

I have known Doug since 7th grade at Glenridge. Always a great guy, I will miss him painfully.

We’ll miss your hearty laugh and your acerbic wit. Wish you had made it to Jeopardy dear friend! Like others, we miss you already and will never forget you or your story-telling. Forever in our hearts, Ford and Barb

Doug was a great guy who will be much missed. From our Park Avenue Elementary days through WPHS to our time at FSU I could always depend on him for his
friendship. I thanked him many times for the floor space in his dorm at FSU when I came over to visit Annette.

I will miss Doug's keen wit, entertaining stories and most of all; his unique sense of humor. He was always kind to me and was a great friend to my late uncle, Tom McGough. Sorry to see you go. E. McGough

Doug, 1962 doesn't seem so far away when we
were junior high school kids. Even though our lives turned out quite differently, we will always remember the good times that we had with you and your best friend, the late Tom McGough. We will never forget you! May
God bless you, sustain you, and provide you with much happiness.
