Dorothy "Dot" Weems Bilello

Dorothy "Dot" Weems , 71, was a native of Winnfield, LA and resident of Thibodaux. She passed away on February 21, 2013. Visitation will be on Monday, February 25, 2013 at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral from 8:30 AM until funeral time. A mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. Interment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Anthony Joseph "AJ" Bilello; one son, Timothy J. Bilello; three daughters, Theresa (Thaddeus) Zeringue, Melanie (David) Harris and Annette Bilello Hagen; one granddaughter, Trisha Z. Dubina; nine grandsons, Dirk (Erin) and Dustin (Lindsey) Harris, Toby (Kristie) Zeringue, Stephen, David Lee, Andrew, Eli and Benjamin Hagen, and Timothy J. Bilello Jr.; four great-grandsons, Denver, Douglas and Dawson Harris, and Reece Dubina; two great-granddaughters, Brynn Harris and Juliana Zeringue; a nephew who was like a son, Eddie Johns; and her caretaker, Joel Seymore.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Cicero and Ida Mae Weems; six brothers, Ted, Ellis, Scott, Floyd, Dudley and Joe Weems; and two sisters, Dora Johns and Clara Grass.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Chester Boudreaux; Dr. Roger Steuben.
