I am sad to learn that Lucille has passed away. Reading her obituary tonight brought back a rush of good memories. I remember all the political meetings and campaigns we participated in together. She was a real leader. And the ice cream socials at Jonesville were always a favorite. She and Hooper always invited me to go with them. Lucille was a friend, mentor and ally. I am grateful for her influence and will remember her always. Senator Ken Yager

We loved Lucille dearly. She was such a bright light in my sister Jo and my lives through out our childhood. Lucille was so kind to Jo and I growing up. We haved missed all of our visits and conversations. She will be sadly missed and always remembered with great affection.

My aunt Lucille will always hold a special place in my heart. Of all my grandaddy's sisters she was my favorite. Even as a liitle girl I can remember all her elephants, what a republican she was. I know my mom wii be so glad to see her in heaven .Many prayers for the family.
