Leon will truly be missed by my family. He was one of the first people that we met when we moved to Joy. He welcomed us with open arms and became not only a neighbor but a friend to the entire family. Anyone that knew Leon Clay for any length of time is a better person, if they follow the example he set in the way he lived his life. He had a kind, caring, and compassionate soul that will be missed but remembered forever.

Shirley, We will miss Leon so, very much. I always wanted to have that "yard sit time." I am sad that we didn't make it happen. He was always so good to let us know things. We hurt for you so much. We sent our condolences to you, Michael and Ronnie. We are so sorry for your loss. It is a great one.
Fondly, Jill and Tom

Shirley and family (particularly Ronnie), My heart goes out to you. It isn't every day we lose someone as unique and special as Leon Clay!! The mere name makes me smile and laugh!! When I found this passage, who else could I think of other than Leon?!?!! Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. - Psalms 116:15

Dear Dear Leon,
If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to Heaven
And bring you home again.

Leon was one of my best friends in school. I don't recall him ever getting into serious trouble, but he had a lot of fun and was fun to be with. I will continue to remember him as an energetic, fun loving guy who always did the right thing.
