Adaline E. Bottomlee (Borer), age 87 of Clarksfield, went home to be with the Lord on February 17, 2013 after a lengthy illness. She was born on September 16, 1925 to the late Joseph and Emma (Knott) Borer. She was a devoted and loving mother to her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Clarksfield United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters Emma Bottomlee, of Clarksfield, with whom she made her home, Patricia (Terry) Woolledge, of Statesville, NC, Linda Bottomlee, of Willard,, sons, Ralph (Karen) Borer, of North Lima, OH, Jim Bottomlee, of Clarksfield, John (Becky) Bottomlee, of Norwalk, Joseph (Jennifer) Bottomlee, of New London, 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years Paul L. Bottomlee in 1991, her children Karen Shamel, in 1953, Faith Urbansky in 1982, Karl Shamel, in 1984, grandchildren Casey Nichols, in 1990, Michael Borer, in 1970, and Chris Ackerman, in 2004, sisters Geraldine, and Georgia Mae, and brothers Cornelius, Edward, Arthur, Ralph, Cyril, Jerome, and Gerard Borer.
Friends may call on Wednesday February 20, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman, where services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Clarksfield United Methodist Church.
