CENTRAL CITY - Charles E. "Egghead" Goodman, 77, of Central City, died Thursday, December 20, 2012 due to a long illness at Belle Meade Nursing Home in Greenville. Mr. Goodman was born September 16, 1935 in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired factory worker from G.E. in Louisville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustie and Petrenola Allen Goodman; brothers Willis "Whitey" Goodman, Gustie A. Goodman, J.C. Goodman, and Glendell Goodman; and sister Wanetta Goodman Grise.

Survivors include his daughter, Lyndonna (Jeff L.) Taylor of Central City; grandchildren Justin Lafollette of Boston, KY and Ashley Taylor of Central City; and great-grandchildren Landon Lafollette, Alizabeth Lafollette, and Kenni Lafollette.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. J.W. Haire officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00PM at the funeral home.
