Charles Denzil Feazel, 75 of Eldorado passed away Tuesday 4:10 am at the John and Betty Charlier VNA Hospice Facility in Evansville. He was born April 6, 1934 in Saline County to the late Charles and Ruth (Stunson) Feazel. He worked for the New York Central Railroad, Illinois Central, Penn Central, and the Conrail Railroad systems for 34 years before retiring. After retiring he worked restoring many kinds and styles of horse drawn wagons and carriages as a lucretive hobby. He was a member of the Wasson Baptist Church, where he was song leader and trustee for many years. He also accomplished the 32nd mason degree many years ago. He is survived by his wife Virginia; two daughters, Charlotte (James) Akers of Decatur, IL, Carla (Denzil) Hafford of Galatia, IL, four grandchildren, Brian Gidcumb of Alexandria, LA, Christi Gidcumb of Chicago, IL, Mendi (Steve) Reynolds of Eldorado and Matthew (Brandi) Hafford of Kevil, KY, three great grandchildren Braydon VanZant, Kagen VanZant, and Maylon Hafford and a brother Harold Feazel of Harrisburg. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Gordon Delane and a sister Nigeal Blaine during infancy, and two sisters Wanda Reynolds and Virginia Baggott. Funeral Services 11 am Saturday November 7, 2009 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery. Vistation 5 to7 pm Friday November 6, 2009 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The John and Betty Charlier Hospice Center and can be left at the funeral home.

Carla, Virgina, and family, We are so sorry to read about your loss. We know how much you will miss Charles, but he is in a grand place.
