Curt U. Harames

My family and I have known the Harames Family for many years and we were very saddened to see that Curt had passed away at such a young age. We send our love and compassion to you all, and wish you the very best. Many Blessings and Much Love!

Uncle Curt and Aunt Mary were the closet thing I had to second parents growing up - even living far away. I always loved going to their house. Uncle Curt was always so much fun and had an infectious smile and laugh. There are so many great memories with Curt. My love and prayers go to the family - you are all amazing people and we are here to support you. I was blessed to know Uncle Curt and I know he is at peace.

younger days.
In seeing the video photos of the family and his life, I have tears streaming down my face seeing he and my special Uncle Paul and he,
along with the tresured photo of Uncle Paul & Jo with all his brother and sisters. We all had such a beautiful life growing up with Cousins and aunts.
May God keep all of you safe, and may his memory of a husband, father, and grand father always be in all of your memories.

What my dad(Farrel Farnes) said in his memorial was very true. We girls (Denise and I) LOVED spending time with Uncle Curt and Aunt Mary and their family. We were very close and spent a lot of time together especially during the time that we lived in North Ogden. Curt always had a great sense of humor and enjoyed sharing that with others. Living 2,000 miles away for the last 21 years I have not kept in touch the way

Mary would like to share a classic family story:
While traveling to pick up Paul (brother) from his mission, Curt and Mary's father (Paul Sr) stopped at a gas station to fill up the car with gas. Curt and Mary were in the back seat when they noticed their father moving around quickly. There was a dog bothering him. Curt and Mary started laughing at their father's reaction. When he got back the car Curt and Mary asked their father what was going on with the dog. Their father (Paul Sr) said, "Dang dog thought I was a fire hydrant". This resulted in Curt, Mary and Curt's Mother losing it. They laughed about it the rest of the trip. It has become a family classic story.

While in the service our car started to clunk and clank, Mary and Farrel drove the car from California back to Ogden, Ut at 35 to 40 miles per hour. We had very little money at that time and Curt took our old car to the Bonneville High School and rebuilt the engine. Curt was a great mechanic at an early age. We will always be thankful for what Curt did for us. The car ran great for many years.

When Curt and Mary's kids were young, Mary and Farrel girls (Debbie and Denise) loved to visit Uncle Curt and Aunt Mary. We also loved it when they came to our home. We had such good times and many laughs. Debbie and Denise said they have such special memories of this time.

Curt and Mary's family holds a very special stop in our heart and it saddens us that Curt is gone at such a young age.

I spent many an hour with Curt over the past 4 years. I was with him in good times and challenging times but my heart always went out to him. Like all of us, Curt had challenges in life and did his best to meet them. Curt was one of my ward clerks and was a great one. He was always there when I needed him and became an important part of our ward. I wished I could have visited

Like all of us, Curt had challenges in life and did his best to meet them. Curt was one of my ward clerks and was a great one. He was always there when I needed him and became an important part of our ward. I wished I could have visited him but I loved him as a fellow brother. He and I always seemed to get along well and I appreciated the respect he showed me as bishop. I hope he will have peace as he travels into the next part of his eternal journey. I offer the family my deepest sympathy for your loss.

To the Harames family, so sorry for your loss. To Carrie & Jeff we are so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. We were in the Mt. Lewis 4th ward with you. Take care ! Lynnette & Tim Chadwick

Curt was a joy growing up. It was fun to see the love and caring he gave his parents. When they became so ill it was nice to see him showing them the love they needed. He was a good example to all and I am sorry you had to lose him so young. God bless you all! Love, Marilyn Froerer
