GREENVILLE - Donald "Shorty" Carver, 88, of Greenville, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 10:13AM at his home. Mr. Carver was born September 3, 1924 in Muhlenberg County. He was a coal miner.

Survivors include his wife, Eva Lee Addison Carver; daughters Donna Sumner of Greenville, Sandra Hardison of Robards, Vicky Stuart of Hanson, and Amy Powell of Greenville; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 28, 2013 at 2:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Dr. Ray England officiating. Burial in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
