Elizabeth R. "Betty" Cahill (nee Collins)
Of Glenolden
Elizabeth R. "Betty" Cahill (nee Collins) of Glenolden passed away on November 8, 2012 at Little Flower Manor. Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Hubert and Annie Collins. Betty graduated Little Flower High School in 1942. She worked as a bookkeeper for PA Railroad and WoolCo in the fitting room. She was a founding member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Secane. Betty enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, taking walks and listening to music. Survivors are her loving grandchildren; Christopher Dougherty, Elizabeth Casey (Ronald) and son-in-law Joseph Dougherty. Loving aunt of Clare Howe (Robert), Daniel Mullen (Eileen), Edward Miller (Kathleen), Jeanne Palmer (Albert), Christine Shields (Michael), Susan Bradley (Robert), Mary Dura (John), Frank Sullivan, Richard Sullivan (Kathy) and Danny Sullivan (Betsy). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph, her loving daughter Ann M. Dougherty and siblings James C. Collins (Dorothy), Mary Miller (Edward), Hubert Collins and Anne Mullen (Dan). Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday after 8:30am at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood followed by her Funeral Mass at 10am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Secane. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield. In lieu of flowers, donations to Little Flower Manor, 1201 Springfield Rd., Darby, PA 19023
