Elmer was born on July 9, 1922 and passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2009.

Elmer was last known to be living in Evansville, Indiana.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during WWII in the South Pacific Theatre on board the Liberty Ship, USS Armadillo.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joy.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Boone Funeral Home ~ East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue Evansville, with Reverend Joseph Easley officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, November 6, 2009 at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel.
