Eula "Bea" Hearn Richardson, born on February 28th, 1930, was surrounded by her family at her home in Deer Park, AL, when she left for her Father's House on Tuesday, November 13th, 2012, at the age of 82. Raised in Citronelle, she was the daughter of Oscar & Esther Hearn. She graduated from Citronelle High School as Valedictorian of the Class of 1948. Upon graduating, she worked as the Secretary of that same school. On March 4th 1950, she married the love of her life, Henry Richardson, and they shared 45 years together until his passing. After her marriage, she began work at Brookley Field.
"Bea" was not only a mother, but an angel and a muse. Everyone she knew was inspired by her. She taught all of her children how to live life passionately and fight for it courageously. Her sweet disposition and philanthropic ways made her family proud to call her theirs. Her passing has left a hole in the hearts of all who had the privilege to share her time here on Earth. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. In this pain, her family rejoices in knowing that she is home with her Father in heaven.
She is survived by her children; Rick (Margaret) Richardson, of Citronelle, AL; Tim (Judy) Richardson and Darrell (Lisa) Richardson of Deer Park, AL; Debra (Charles) Baxter, of Chatom, AL; Leslie (Curtis) Wainwright, of Saraland, AL; and Melissa Robinson, of Ft. Morgan, AL. She had thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Joe Hearn, Chatom, AL, her sister in-laws, Edith Richardson, Deer Park, AL, Hartance Hearn, Warner Robbins, GA, and her dear friend Gracie Odom, Deer Park, AL.
The Family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Stephen Donald and his staff at Washington County Hospital, Springhill Home Health and Hospice Nurses for making her last days comfortable. They would also like to thank everyone who stopped by to visit, brought food, and sent cards.
The wake and funeral services will be held at Deer Park Methodist Church. The wake is being held on Thursday, November 15th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral is being held on Friday, November 16th 10a.m. with burial at Deer Park Cemetery.
