Fairy Colson Nettles, 79, of Johns Island, South Carolina, wife of Harold H. Nettles entered into eternal rest Monday, December 17, 2012. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 232 Calhoun Street at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Bedon Baptist Churchyard, Walterboro, SC . The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m in Stuhr's Downtown Chapel.
Fairy was born December 22, 1932 in Walterboro, SC the daughter of Keeley Colson and Goldie Craven Colson. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. She was a graduate of St. John's High School and retired from Roper Hospital as Ward Secretary.
She is survived by her beloved husband and soul mate of sixty years; daughter, Pamela N. Priester (Larry) of Johns Island, SC; two sons, Russell H. Nettles (Cathy) of Charleston, SC and Karl H. Nettles of Moncks Corner, SC; eleven grandchildren, Roger (Tara), Ryan (Chrissy), Robbie, Whitney (Robert), Russell Jr., Brookie (Doug), Stephanie, Michael, Karla (Kyle), Jamie (Mikey), Karl Nettles, Jr. and fourteen great grandchildren. Fairy was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
