Florence Wingenter Kohutek, formerly of El Campo, passed away on February 13, 2013 at the age of 82. She was born on November 24, 1930 to Henry and Margaret Wingenter in San Antonio. Florence was a retired bookkeeper and an incredible mother.
She is survived by her daughters Janet Gajewsky and husband Gary of Lane City, Rose Hancock and husband John of Damon, and Mary Easley and husband Dan of Houston; sons David Kohutek and wife Jo Lynn of Leeander, Ted Kohutek and wife Jaime of Bandera, Billy Kohutek and wife Kelly of Angleton and Alan Kohutek and wife Mandy of San Antonio; brother Bob Wingenter and wife Candy of Beeville; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charlie Kohutek; sons Dickey and Jeffery Kohutek; great-grandson Hunter Kohutek and brother Willie Wingenter.
Visitation will begin at 12 pm Friday, February 15, 2013 at Triska Funeral Home with a Rosary following at 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Saturday, February 16, 2013 at St. Philip Catholic Church with the Reverend Albert Yankey officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Chris Gajewsky, Ricky Gajewsky, Gary Gajewsky, Dan Easley, Randy Kohutek, and John Hancock.
