Frances Holloway Carreras, 72, died peacefully in her home in Picayune, Ms with her husband and children at her side. She was born on September 10, 1940 and a native of St. Bernard Parish.
Frances is survived by her husband Ralph D. Carreras, Sr.; they were married for over 55 years and had four children: Ralph D. Carreras, Jr. (Jennifer), Karen Carreras (Jimmy Pontiff), Beth Carreras, Gwen Carreras-Harriss (Bryan). She was the grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Lee Holloway.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue Street, Chalmette, LA on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 beginning at 11:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM. Inurnment in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be given to St. Joseph Hospice, 722 West Canal, Picayune, Ms 39466; (601)799-2488.
