I had just seen Ms. Elliott last month at the Board of Education so I was completely shocked when I heard of her passing. She was my Art teacher at HCMS and I remember her fondly. I still have some of our projects from those classes. She touched so many lives by inspiring a love of art in each of her students. I don't think anyone who knew her wouldn't remember her. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family.

Beth was a great lady. She was always kind to me.. a true inspiration. Anyone who knew her was fortunate to experience her wisdom and creativity. Her love is lasting, reaching far and deep. Such a beautiful person, Ida Beth. My sympathy to the family. We will all miss her. May God bless. The Psalmist wrote: "Unless Your law had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction. I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have given me life." Psalm 119:92-93 Can we all relate?

I wish to convey sympathy in your loss of Beth. She was a talented person. I taught at Hawesville Elementary and so was associated with Beth many years.I have enjoyed her art work, especially the cards she did of buildings in Hawesville. I know she received her teaching degree later in life and enjoyed the students.
