James R. Cannon Sr., 74, of Meriden, passed away January 2, 2013. He was born to the late Cleo Cannon and Sarah (Martin) Cannon on March 26, 1938 in Wrightsville, GA. He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife, Brenda Cannon of Meriden; daughters, Felicia Bullock of Norwich, Doreen Robles, Nikki Cannon, both of Meriden, Gina Simmons of Delaware, brother, Louis Bentley of GA; sister, Juanita Bentley of Wallingford; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by, son, James R. Cannon Jr., brother, Earl Cannon, sisters, Ruth Knox, Nerlene Mills.
