Gastonia, NC Larry Joseph "Joe" Moody, 50, died Wednesday, January 9. Born in Gastonia, he was the son of the late Clyde Allen Moody, Sr. and Patty Self Moody. Mr. Moody was an Auto Body Repairman with Coffey Body Shop. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Pete Moody. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Renee Moody of Gastonia; nephew, Dustin Moody; niece Tayler Moody. A service of remembrance will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at Joe's residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
