WHITNEY, Karen Ishee, 69, of Tampa, died August 6, 2011. She is predeceased by her parents Dallas and Edna Kilby and is survived by her husband Eugene Whitney, son Jason Ishee (Sharon), daughters Shannon Coffey (John), Shar Ishee (Pattie), Shawn Carreiro (Amos), sister Kay Ratliff, step-sons Richard Whitney, Frank Whitney, Mark Whitney, step-daughter Theresa Roberts, 22 loving grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Karen was the past President of Lanier Elementary, a member of the Beta Sigma Phi and the Plant High Reunion Committee. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to LifePath Hospice or Lanier Elementary P.T.A. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with funeral service at 11:00 a.m., both at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Avenue, Tampa. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
