Mary Turner Good, age 84, wife of Lawrence E. "Larry" Good, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013.

Born in Broadway, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Layman B. and Mary Trumbo Turner.

She was raised by her grandparents, Zack and Daisy Turner. Mrs. Good was retired from Morrison's Cafeteria after many years of service and was a member of Northside United Methodist Church. She was affectionately known as "Mama" or "Mary T" and was a fabulous cook and gardener. Mrs. Good was happiest being a mother and a homemaker.

In addition to her husband of 66 years, Mrs. Good is survived by three daughters, Jeannette Good, Cynthia "Cindy" Timmerman and husband Stacey, and Anna Orr and husband Summey; a son, Larry E. Good and wife Kimberly; seven grandchildren, Jeff Timmerman and wife Allison, Joe Timmerman and wife Amanda, Edwin Good, Daniel Good, Mary Dacey Orr, Caroline Orr, and Alex Orr; three great grandchildren, Mia Timmerman, Tessa Timmerman, and Jane Timmerman; and a sister, Jean Chandler.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Remembrance Chapel of Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends in the chapel on Saturday following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northside United Methodist Church, 435 Summit Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
