BEECHMONT - Mary Louise Baker, 72, of Beechmont, died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 7:18PM at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Baker was born July 5, 1940 in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of Beechmont Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Baker; and father, Alford Cottrell.

Survivors include her daughters, Debby (Steve) Ingram and Susan (Jamie) Toomey, all of Beechmont; son Donald (Rebecca) Baker of Greenville; mother Viola Cottrell of Beechmont; grandchildren Brandon (Tina) Baker of Greenville, Chris (Jennifer) Steele of Beech Creek, Aaron Baker of Odenton, Maryland, Jessica (Tim) Cotton of Beechmont, and Suzanne Williams of Beechmont; eight great-grandchildren; and sister Alfreda Jones of Bowling Green.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11:00AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry Eades officiating, assisted by Rev. James Watt. Burial in Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. The family would like to thank MCH Long Term Care nurses, nurse aides, and Teresa Allen, for their loving care. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Muhlenberg Co. Baptist Center Food Pantry. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
