A Mass of Christian Burial for Monique "Nicky" Gibson, age 48, will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at 10AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with burial to follow at Miller Cemetery. Monsignor Robert Romero will officiate.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, from 12PM until 10PM. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin at 6 PM.

Monique is survived by her father, Theodore Soileau; a son, Nicholas Soileau of Welsh LA; two daughters, Hailey Gibson Tomlinson and husband Brandon of Winnfield and Sydney Gibson of Winnfield; five brothers, Stacey Scott Schoeffler of Eunice, Samuel Sydney Schoeffler of Eunice, Steven Stewart Schoeffler of Cincinnati, OH; David Todd Soileau of Eunice, and Bernard Soileau of Eunice; two aunts, Jolene Manuel Ardoin of Ville Platte and Judy Ardoin Herad of Metarie; two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Manuel Soileau; a brother, Lane Soileau.
