Pedro Osvaldo Mendoza, Jr. 42 of Tampa left this earth January 24, 2013. He was born in New York City, Manhattan to Caridad and Pedro Mendoza. He worked at La Segunda Central Bakery as a Mechanical Engineer. In recent years he took pride and joy in breeding and raising his pidgeons. He leaves many fond memories among his family and friends. That unforgettable smile will forever live in our hearts. Pete is survived by his children, Shalimar, Diamond, Seth, and Malana, his mother Carol Mendoza, father Pedro Mendoza, Sr, his sister Cari Valdez, her husband Stevie Valdez, their children Michael, Ralph, Jr. (Mochi), Steven, Tevin, two half sisters Rosana J. Lopez and Priscilla Mendoza Romero, Uncle Luis and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 PM on Thursday, January 31 at Blount & Curry FH, 6802 Silvermill Drive, Tampa with the funeral service following at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family at the funeral home.
