LAI, Philip, L., "Phil" Age 42. Proud and loving father of Veronica Rose and Katherine Rose. Adored son of Patricia (Dennis) Ballard. Beloved grandson of Rosalie Palazzolo. Dear brother of Christine (Jeffrey) DeWalt and Tito (Yukiko). Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nephews, and friends. Phil loved his work as a police officer for the city of Birmingham. Visitation Sunday 3-9pm with a 7pm scripture service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile Rd). Funeral Monday instate 9:30am at St. Athanasius Catholic Church 18720 13 Mile Rd (Between Gratiot & Groesbeck) until time of Mass 10am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Phil's honor would be appreciated to the wishes of the family. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
