He was preceded in death by his wife James.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Harold Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Carterville.
