Vincent C. Gandolfi, age 66, of North Ridgeville, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at his home, following a long illness.
He was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 30 years. He previously lived in North Olmsted and Rocky River.
Vincent worked as a District Sales manager for Watkins Motor Lines and Amware Distribution, retiring in 2010.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Avon. Vince enjoyed golfing, skiing, boating, music and was a very outgoing and friendly person who loved being with family, especially his grandchildren, and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Helena (nee Fredmonsky); daughter, Jennifer (Robert) Krupka of Olmsted Falls; son, Anthony (Jaina) Gandolfi of Russell Township; grandsons, Benjamin, Charles, William Krupka of Olmsted Falls, Vincent Cataldo Gandolfi II of Russell Township; sister, Claudia Gandolfi-Egido; nephews, Reuben (Vanessa) Egido of Madrid, Alex Egido of the Canary Islands.
He was preceded in death by parents, Vincent and Ethel Gandolfi; sister, Bernadette Gandolfi and brother-in-law, Rafael Egido.
Friends may call on Friday from 3-8 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 33601 Detroit Rd., Avon. Father John Misenko and Father Michael Kenmore will con-celebrate.
