OWENSBORO - William "Bill" G. Dennis, 83, of Owensboro, formerly of Central City, died Monday, December 17, 2012 at 7:13PM at Owensboro Medical Health System. Mr. Dennis was born August 7, 1929 in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired businessman and of the Christian faith. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Survivors include his son, Andrew Dennis of Bowling Green; daughter Lisa Francis of Sugarland, TX; step-daughter Jackie Kirtley of Bowling Green; brother Jack Dennis of Scottsville; several grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 21, 2012 at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Dr. James Wedding officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
